Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor. Her most well-known role was Skyler in the AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and she was the recipient of the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 and 2014. Her other roles are Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in love with acting in the Preparatory stage before moving with her family to Ohio. She did theatre studies at Northwestern University, and spent an entire semester at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was a part of a couple of seasons performing in Chicago theater before transitioning to TV and film roles. In 1992, Anna got her first major role as Arden in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. The early 90s were when Anna was a frequent guest on TV and in films including Seinfeld or NYPD Blue. In the mid 2000's she was placed in Deadwood in the role of Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler played her part as Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad. Sully as well as Deadwood are also a an integral part of her professional acting career. Gunn played in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production produced by David Schwimmer. Gunn acted as the character Numbered Days in a four-part audio show that premiered in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. Its strain and ultimate end reflect the final seasons of Walter White.
